November 1, 2015

It’s been a while since I’ve written you all. We are presently off lockdown and we came to an agreement with the Bulldogs so that situation we had (riots) are over. There has been a lot of changes in the law in reference to the gang validation process here in California. The California Department of Corrections settled the main law suit that the SHU gang validated prisoners brought against them. The can no longer put us in the SHU for being a validated gang member. The can only put

inmates in the SHU for a rules violation report like all other inmates. The whole process has been changed. They are also in the process of releasing prisoners who has been in the SHU as validated gang members. They just released 3 people to this facility who has been in the SHU for over 30 years. Yes, a lot of people are coming out of those SHU’s and its going to be a lot of changes and they will not all be good. They just told the Bulldog inmates on this yard that they are bringing Southern Mexicans to this yard. They are not going to let that happen so its gong to be a war between them when that happens. The Bulldogs are not going to function on the same yard with Southern or Northern Mexicans and that’s a fact. They don’t want to be subjected to their politics. So, our situation with them is over but there is going to be a bigger situation to come for them. The thing is they are not going to let the Whites come on this yard either. The Whites (skin heads) or Aryan Brother (AB) are racist and they don’t get along with the Asians or the Bulldogs. So its going to be a lot happening at this place. I am just going to stay out of the way and stay on point as far as my protection is concerned. It’s always the same no matter who they bring or take away as far as I am concerned. I hope they ring some Muslims. I’ll have brothers to study and worship with. There is not that many Muslims at this prison and the more the better as far as I am concerned because we Muslims really don’t  get involved in all the politics and all. the ones here are not that learned and that’s not a good thing. I have been keeping up with my legal matters. I submitted my appeal of the validation to the 9 circuit court of appeals. I am also asking the District court to allow me to appeal the excessive force matter to the 9th circuit. I had withdrawn it when the riots was going on because I would not have been able to make the deadlines but I request to file it again. I’m sure they will grant it and I already have my brief prepared and ready to submit. I am waiting to hear from my appeal lawyer in Mass. He has not answered any of my last 3 letters. I think he is trying to get me to request he be removed from the case. He might not want to show all the stuff they did. I just don’t have a good past with those lawyers in Mass. I hope that’s not the case because he seems like a good person. I am in the process of doing the suit on the book myself. I wrote several lawyers and the last one said it looks strong but he has a lot of work right now and can’t take it. If anyone knows a lawyer who would do this for me shoot him my way. I would prefer to have a lawyer do it because I’ve never did a state tort before. Well I am going to end this for now. I’ll keep all of you in my prayers so please put me in yours. Please write me sometimes. I will write you back.

Please share your thoughts with me.
